There must be an existing power fixture in the place you wish to install the fan. Unless it is a brand new install. 

This needs to include existing wiring compliant with current standards to a wall switch which can be used either as an isolation switch if you plan to use a remote with your fan, or to act as a wall control for the fan if this is your preference. If additional wiring to a wall switch is required, you may incur additional charges.

The above costs are based on:

The assumption that your existing switchboard complies with current standards. If your switchboard is not compliant, I will not be able to commence work. I will give you a price to update the switchboard

The following circumstances may lead to additional charges:

• If there is no internal roof support mounting point
• If there is insufficient or non-compliant wiring at the installation site
• Additional parts such as fuses, plugs or switches

Installations where access to the ceiling is difficult. This can be the case in apartments or in buildings with flat roofs.

Price does not include:

Ceiling patching/painting

Upgrading existing wiring to meet current standards

Please note that this is not an exhaustive list of situations which may result in additional charges, as there are many variables which can affect the complexity of an installation, and therefore the length of time it will take to complete.
